One year old milestone photography sessions are a lot of fun. Parents bring in their little one to celebrate this first year that went by too fast and was full of so many moments. I usually get to take newborn pictures and a couple other milestone sessions throughout that year and then this session comes up on the calendar. It so fun seeing your babies grow and their personalities bloom. I love to chat with parents and get an idea of what they would love this set of pictures to look like. Some go with very simple cakes and want the setup to be bare minimum with all focus on their little one. I do have a large majority that just pick some colors and show me the outfit. Then let me have at it with the design/setup. In this instance, sweet Wrenly was to have a cute little Alice in Onderland outfit. So, of course, I went crazy with excitement because I knew of several backdrops carried by Photo Prop Floors and Backdrops that would work really well for this set. I usually design my own scenes, props and go over the top. But why reinvent the wheel when a setup has already been created and printed as a backdrop. These drops from my friend Jen are simply perfect. I also design backdrops for her company. So I love grabbing designs from the other wonderful creators who do what I do on a regular basis. They are all so creative. I threw some props in front of the drop. I painted some containers in a whimsical design with topiaries on top. Then it was all about Wrenly. I think it turned out simply perfect.
